In conjunction with the Mayor’s Office of Employment Development, the Baltimore Workforce Development Board issues a new plan every three years. They take into account the growing industries with large scale hiring needs, the training required to fill that workforce demand, and the traits of current job seekers. Within federal service requirements, the BWDB identifies how it will meet the needs of both customers – employers and jobseekers – to drive and support the local economy.
